Sorry to keep posting old reviews but I just found this reveiw of the Dactyl/Bacon Wagon 7" in french and translated it into english. My favorite line is "Because here on this piece of black vinyl, you have your weight in cucumber distortions and saturations."Hell yeah.

I just found this...
and thought it was funny,it's a review of the Dactyl record,"Teething" enjoy!
DACTYL:
Teething: CD
As a zombie, I essentially have one important decision to make on a daily basis: Whose brains am I going to eat? Sometimes, I put a great deal of thought into the decision. For example, one thing that would make me want to eat your brains is if you have a really great, horror-looking CD cover featuring Daddy Dracula rocking a blue baby mutant in his arms, and yet you filled the disc with all sorts of feedback filled, noisy garage rock. As far as I’m concerned, that’s false advertising, which I’m pretty sure is a violation of some law. If I eat you, I will simply be dishing out justice. Unfortunately, most times I simply bite into whichever head is closest to me when I’m hungry. Dactyl, you lucked the fuck out. – Tarantula Ted (translated by MP Johnson) –MP Johnson (Reptilian)

2009 is here
There have been some changes going on lately.First,Dactyl will be playing its last show on Feb.22nd:
We will hopefully have a new recording of our last few songs to give out at the show.We will also have a split 7" coming out with Fight Amp,it will be a split release between Knife Hits and Amplified Noise. The plan is to give Dactyl a rest until we all feel like doing it again.
Now on to the fun stuff,AmpNoise will be releasing a Talk Me Off cd that should be out by mid march.I will post the artwork and give you a set date when I have one.Until that time you can check out my new band Rookie Cop with Rebecca from FightAmp.Thats it for now.
